Bath and Body Works Apricot and White Tea Smoothing Face Scrub

Wow. That’s a long title. Anyways school has just started and waking up early compared to sleeping in during summer is a huge change, so I’ve decided to review a face scrub! Face scrubs are supposed to gently exfoliate the surface of the skin, and some (particularly this one) have an amazing scent that wakes you up in the morning. So you can look (and feel) better starting off the day.

The OCD is awakening in me as I look at this picture, because the lid isn’t turned to the front of the bottle. O.o

The packaging is appealing, very cute and bubbly. I think I paid $1.50 for this at Bath and Body Works because it was on sale, but this usually retails for $6.00 at regular price. You get 1 fl oz or 30 ml of product.

This is what the actual face scrub looks like, as you can see there are some pretty big grains of “crushed apricot seeds” (as it says on the back of the tube). I actually didn’t realize until a few days ago that this product had walnut shell powder in it… so if you’re like me and are allergic to nuts… don’t eat it (even though it smells AMAZING). Speaking of the scent, it smells very refreshing and fruity. It lives up to its title, and definitely doesn’t smell artificial, as some other products do.

As for the exfoliating part of the product, it feels very fresh and cooling when applied to the skin. You don’t really need to use that much. There is enough product in the tube for at least 10 applications. I would not recommend this for sensitive skin though, as the “crushed apricot seeds” are quite a heavy exfoliator (honestly it looks and feels just like sand). Personally I really don’t mind, as the end result is smoother, happier skin.

So. Is it worth it? For $1.50, YES. For $6.00, still probably yes. It’s a nice occasional treat for your skin that leaves it youthful and refreshed.

Style, sense and swag!
